Walk location: A 9 km circular walk from Cós via Montes.
Originator: John
The walk: Along tracks and roads with a long ascent and some steep descents, so wear good shoes and bring your walking poles. One stretch could be waterlogged so wear waterproof shoes. We walk through open countryside to the village of Montes and continue to the chapel of Santa Rita which is on the ridge overlooking Cós. We then follow a slightly precarious walk along the ridge before making a steep descent into the valley. There should be some good views and, in spring, wild flowers.
