Walk location:  A circular walk from Alfeizerão along the river and return through Cadarroeira on the eastern ridge.

The Walk:  The walk follows the river valley for 3 kms (in wet weather, possibly muddy and standing water) with one steep climb and descent to warm up. Then a long uphill to Mosqueiros, followed by about 1 km of fairly quiet road, then uphill to the village of Cadarroeira. From there we descend along a farmers’ track back to a quiet road with a number of blind corners. The final descent should offer fine views of the São Martinho do Porto bay and surrounding countryside.
The tracks will be overgrown in places.
