Walk between the Ginja cherries

Friday 10/04 10:00

This circular 12,8 km walk starts at Pinhal which is part of Óbidos. It will take us towards Sobral do Lagoa which is the area where they grow the sour cherries used to make the ginja. The walk will take us through orchards and forestial areas mainly on rural tracks, but also on a quiet road from Sobral downhill to the main road. At about halfway we will be able to see the Óbidos castle to the east and also the lagune to the west. On our way back to Pinhal the trail will take us through a pine and eucalyptus forest near A-da-Gorda. Please be reminded that all dogs must be kept on a short leash at all times. In case of an accident dog owners will be kept personally responsible for their animal.
