The Walk
The headland above Salir do Porto
The first part is through woodland and shrubs and may be overgrown in places. We then follow the cliff in a northerly direction and reach a viewpoint with magnificent views along the coast and inland before passing across valley – a walking pole may be needed here on a steep, short descent. Then we head inland with views of the lagoon at São Martinho do Porto.

The walk is about 6 km and is expected to take about 2.5 hrs

| The meeting point is along a side road on the south side of Salir do Porto. From Salir do Porto drive uphill towards Foz do Arelho and at the top of the hill turn right onto a side road.
