Walk location: Reguengo do Fétal, Batalha

The Walk: The walk starts in the centre of Reguegno do Fetal. Steady climb to begin on local road , followed by ascent to two different hills.
Total ascent approx. 340 metre. This is a marked trail on rocky tracks with sections of wooden steps ( roped ) . During the climb to the 2nd hill we come across impressive limestone
arches which are used by others for rock climbing. There are excellent views at several points across the valley. At the top of the 2nd hill is a monument , before we take the marked path ( all downhill )
back to the start in Reguegno do Fetal . The walk is challenging but described by the Tourist Office as fantastic for hikers.
