The Walk: We walk along quiet roads to the woods and then follow sandy tracks with gentle slopes through pine and eucalyptus woodland.
The walk runs close to the railway line.
Timing: The walk is about 4 to 5 km (dependent on the route) and is expected to take about 1.5 hrs.
Car Meeting Point: The beach car-park at Salir do Porto for 10:30 am. See the Notes section below for directions.

Notes: The beach car park is about 100 metres beyond the swimming pool. You can reach the beach car park from the roundabout on the São Martinho to Foz do Arelho road. Coming from São Martinho take the first right at the roundabout in Salir do Porto.
