Walk location: A walk in the woods near to Salir do Porto.

The Walk:  This is from 3 to 6 kms depending on the route.  The walk follows sandy tracks through woodland and cultivated fields. The surface is sandy or firm track. There is one stretch of quiet road through Boa Vista and an uphill climb.

Timing:  The walk is 3 to 6 km and is expected to take about 1.5 to 2 hrs

Car Meeting Point:  The parking space opposite the Nascer do Sol restaurante near Salir do Porto at 10:15 am. For directions see the Notes below.

Coffee Stop: After the walk at Nascer do Sol or Salir do Porto.

Notes:  The Nascer do Sol is 50 metres from the Salir do Porto railway station on the road connecting Salir do Porto with Chão da Parada.

From Tornada take the N8 direction Alfeizerão and turn left direction Chão da Parada after 0.5 kms. Drive straight through Chão da Parada followed by woodland and you will see the restaurant on the left hand side just before the level crossing (about 5 kms). You can park on the right hand side.

From São Martinho do Porto turn left at the roundabout in Salir do Porto. You will cross the level crossing after 200 metres and the restaurant is 50 m further on the right hand side. You can park on the left hand side.
