The Walk: This is a linear, woodland walk from Casais do Salir to Salir do Porto. There are no steep hills and underfoot the ground is sometimes firm and other times loose sand. In wet weather there will be the occasional puddle, but no mud.
Timing: The walk is about 10 km and is expected to take about 2.5 hrs.
Car Meeting Point: The roadside parking adjacent to the roundabout in Salir do Porto for 09:15 am. The roundabout is on the main road from São Martinho do Porto to Foz do Arelho. Park on the road leading to the railway station and Nascer do Sol restaurant.
